To my beloved wife - on our 32nd Anniversary
As I look back on the years we have shared, my heart is filled with gratitude for the life we have built together. Through joys and challenges, laughter and tears, we have grown as husband and wife, as parents and friends. Our family has been the living expression of our love - each day, each moment, a new opportunity to nurture, to forgive, and to hope.
The daily rhythms of our home - meals shared, prayers whispered, the gentle chaos of children (and looking forward to grandchildren) - have become the quasi-sacred ground where our faith and fidelity are lived out. In the ordinary, we have found the extraordinary: the grace to persevere, the strength to forgive, and the courage to begin again. Your patience, kindness, and unwavering devotion have been a reflection of God's own love for us.
We have endured pains and struggles, we have celebrated victories, always striving to keep Christ at the center of our marriage. Our faith has been our anchor, guiding us through uncertainty and giving us hope for the future. Together, we have tried to pass on this faith to our children, teaching them by word and, even more so, by example to trust in God's providence and to cherish the gift of a united family in a world attempting to wear us down.
As we look ahead, my prayer is for our love to deepen, that our home will be a place of welcome and peace, and that we will walk together - hand in hand - toward the eternity God has prepared for us. May we continue to support one another, to grow in wisdom and charity, and to find joy in the simple blessings of each day.
Thank you for your love, sacrifice, faithfulness, and companionship on this journey. I look forward to all that is yet to come, trusting that, with God's help, some of our best days are still before us - and that, one day, we will rejoice together as a family - in the fullness of His presence.
With all my love,
-Andy
